Terrified groom gets tricked by friends into stag party ‘bungee jump’

Covering their unsuspecting victim’s face with a balaclava, the group of jokers made the prank even more realistic by attaching the masked man to a harness. Facing a three-foot drop into the shallow lake below, the fervent crowd began chanting and clapping as the terrified man prepared for his ’50ft jump’.
After some words of encouragement, he spread his arms out wide before finally taking the plunge, much to the delight of the hysterical crowd stood behind him on the river bank. Whipping his balaclava off after making a splash, the purple-haired groom seemed to see the funny side of the joke as he scrambled to dry land.
The video has racked up an impressive one million hits on YouTube in just three days, with one amused user commenting: ‘Who dreams up this stuff!’ With friends like these, who needs enemies?
